Fashionista's Afternoon Tea at Berkeley Hotel

My girlfriend asked me to be free one day and did not want to tell me what we would be doing. I didn't manage to get it out of her, all I knew was: 'It's a surprise! Meet me by Harrods'.

So here I was....
We walked down Knightsbridge and as we approached Berkeley Hotel, it clicked what the surprise was.

We were taken to the Caramel Room for an Afternoon Tea. Prêt-à-Portea added fashion twist to the traditional English afternoon tea with cakes resembling the latest catwalk designs such as Burberry's signature trench coat and Saint Laurent's must-have red leather duffle bag.

Don't' they just look too good to eat?

Who am I kidding! That Emporio Armani violet cassis mousse and Curacao jelly with chocolate swirl was to DIE FOR!

We even got a little takeaway bag.
You certainly get your money's worth here. Check our their Afternoon Tea here.

Delicious sandwiches, gorgeous cakes, and pastries washed down by herbal teas (yes, yes champagne too) our tummy's were exploding. All of a sudden, she says:

'We better hurry up!'
'What, why? Where are we going'?
She smiles: 'Another surprise!'
'Whaaaat'?!?!

So we rushed to Strand and got to Adelphi Theatre. I was beyond excited when I saw the Bodyguard billboard!
I was dying to see it for so long and there I was laughing, crying and singing along some of Whitney's classics performed by Beverley Knight. She was phenomenal!

This was such a special Birthday treat from my gorgeous friend, who made so much effort to make my day truly special.

I am so lucky.
