Ceru Restaurant - The Flavours of the Levant

either Miami nor the French Riviera spring to mind when we think of Tower Bridge, but we’re willing to let London Riviera convince us of our cities’ secret exotic side. The four-month Thames-side pop-up will boast screenings of the summer’s sport, and of classic films, whilst live music and theatre accompany lounging between palm trees, upon (hopefully unsoaked) imported sand. - See more at: http://www.justopenedlondon.com/ceru-london-riviera/#sthash.5ytIIXdM.dpuf

London Bridge has turned into an exotic French Riviera hot spot until the end of October.

London Riviera has been designed by Hollywood film designer Sonja Klaus, claiming inspiriration by Miami beachside and the one and only French Riviera. Expect palm trees, comfy beds and flamingos. This place will be THE best hang out place in London (weather permitting).

Ceru Restaurant is the sole provider of food and drinks at More London Riviera and I joined them yesterday to uncover the flavours of the Levant.
The event was hosted by their executive chef Tom Kime, previously of The River CafĂ©, Le Pont de la Tour and Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant.
Their summer sizzling menu is utterly delicious. We started with dips and freshly baked pita, zucchini and feta cheese fritters which were incredibly delicious and light. Cinnamon carrots, a cauliflower dish with walnuts and pomegranate. Eva loved the slow roast lamb shoulder with Shawarma spices and spicy squid. All agreed it was a fantastic qualify street food!

I think the dessert was the cherry on the cake. Ice cream Baklava, pistachio nut ice cream, roast nut brittle and burnt honey caramel. De-lish.
London is a total beauty, don't you agree?

What a lovely evening full of beautiful food, cocktails, great company and endless sunshine. I am surely returning next week.

Ceru is open daily 11am to 10pm, their website here.

London Free Festival is running until 24th September offering of free events such as live Wimbledon, British Formula 1 and British Open Golf, live music and theatre and classic movie screenings. Check out their schedule here.

Now let's hope summer is a hottie!
