Frosty Richmond Park

My day started off bit frosty.

Awake at the crack of dawn, I decided to seize the day and go for a long winter walk through Richmond Park before meeting a friend for a little 'breakfast celebration'.
Slowly walking down the long park road meeting the odd dog walker or a runner and enjoying the utter silence and the picturesque surroundings.
Fields looking like they were sprinkled with a light coat of dusting powder.
The mist hovering above the ground.
and frosty leaves twinkling in the sunshine.
The rising sun, beautiful blue sky, and fresh, albeit cold, air.
What a beautiful crisp winter morning.

The deers started to come out for the most important meal of their day.
Which reminded me, I had to make a move to have mine!
Nothing beats getting out of the city.

Wrap up warm, take some goodies for the four-legged friends and have a winter's day out in the 'wild'. Once you are utterly exhausted, head down to Richmond High Street for a cup of frothy cappuccino at Muriel's Kitchen.
Eggcellent brekkie!
One way to have a great start to your Birthday.
