Thrilling Boat Ride on Thames

Fancy doing something different in London this summer? Perhaps a bit of sightseeing combined with a high dose of adrenaline rush?

Let me take you on a ride.

Last weekend, I was invited by Thames Jet to give their high-speed jet adventure through the heart of London a go.

We arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled time to go through a safety demonstration, and be kitted out with waterproof and life jackets.
It was a nice slow ride from Westminster Pier to Tower Hill, passing by London Eye, The Shard and Tower Bridge.
Once out of the speed restriction area, it was full-on pedal! With sharp spins and turns skimming across the river all the way to Docklands we were reaching the speed of 35 miles per hour. But not too fast for you to be utterly terrified, do not worry! The captain had the boat going sideways which was amazing, the 007 soundtracks added to the atmosphere.

Don't forget to hold on tight and scream if you want to go faster!

Pure adrenaline rush.

The weather was not on our side, but who cares when you are having this much fun. Such a fast and exciting way to see so many iconic landmarks from a different perspective.

After 50 minutes, we finished back where we started at Westminster Pier on an all-time high.

The sheer thrill and liberating feel will make you feel like you want to do it all over again. Guaranteed. Totally fun and exhilarating experience which I highly recommend you try.

Amazing experience for the thrill-seekers, but also perfect for family outing with kids (50% off child tickets until 3rd September!) Book through Thames Jet here.

This speed boat experience was complimentary, however, all photos and opinions are my own. To experience Thames Jet for yourself, check them out here.
