Bob Bob Ricard

I have been wanting to visit Bob Bob Ricard for ages.
Champagne on the tab (almost), I knew this place screamed my name. As soon as we sat down we couldn't resist and pressed the famous button to order a bottle of champers.
The menu offers a luxurious mixture of English and Russian dishes from caviar, oysters, soufflé to venison steak, lobster or a pie. To stick to the champagne theme of the day, I opted for Chicken, Mushroom and Champagne Pie which tasted exactly how it looked.
Just beautiful.

My friend ordered Baked Sole with Champagne Sauce, stuffed with lobster served on spinach.
Judging by the hmm hmmmmmm sounds, I think she enjoyed it too.

The bubbly very quickly went to our heads, we laughed and giggled and kept pressing the button for a top-up.

Naughty us.
I really need one in my house! And a butler. (wink wink)

The deco is incredibly elegant, glam and beautifully Christmassy at this time of a year, which goes well with the deep blues and golds.
One hell of a wallpaper, don't you think?

It was time to check out the desserts. My Warm Chocolate Fondant with ice cream and berries was beautifully light and scrumptious.
My friend ordered the beast of the puds, their signature Chocolate Glory - chocolate mousse, chocolate brownie, meringue and passion fruit orange jelly covered in more chocolate. Just watch this:
Pretty cool right?
And I got yet another Birthday cake; I did promise to celebrate for a whole month and I am absolutely sticking to it.
Fantastic afternoon with an amazing friend!

Service was top notch and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great haunt for a lunch with a girlfriend or a hot dinner date. Pricey but you really do pay for what you get.

Little Russia in the heart of Soho, check them out here.
