Verdi/Wagner at Royal Opera House

Two great musical geniuses - Verdi and Wagner, brought together in celebration of 200th anniversary of their birth at the Royal Opera House.

Verdi created some of the most beautiful operas of all times, La Traviata, Aida, Rigoletto and my absolute favourite Nabucco. Wagner's music is more intellectual, combination of both, something magical.
The hour long celebration was filled with performances of pianists, sopranos and tenors and it was incredibly moving. Lunch time well spent, who said Mondays were dull?
