Spring at Kew Gardens

Have you ever visited London's Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew? No?

Let me give you a quick tour.

I cannot believe it was my first visit yesterday. Also, I never realised how huge the gardens were. I walked 10 kilometers and I still didn't get to see everything.

The weather held up. Even though the sun hid behind the clouds, it did come out occasionally. But luckily there was no sign of rain.

Spring has truly sprung at Kew injecting colors into our lives. And we are very grateful for that after four long months of winter.

I was excited about was the Treetop Walkway and 18m above the ground, you get pretty good views across the gardens. Even of The Shard.

 Flower carpets of every color under the sun.

Popped into the Palm House to explore tropical rainforests from different regions. It was like walking into a steam room, my camera lens steamed up so I had to use my iPhone.

Princess of Wales Conservatory was opened by Princess Diana in 1987. It contains 10 different climatic zones and various plants from orchids, cactus to water lilies.

Coffee and cake break was compulsory.

If you like natural beauty, this is THE place to visit. So much to see and explore, enjoy afternoon tea, climb trees, photograph, laze around, there is something to keep everyone entertained.
