Staying in Palacio Ca Sa Galesa, Palma de Mallorca

When I started to plan my trip to Mallorca, I knew I wanted to stay in the heart of Palma for couple of nights so when I came across Palacio Ca Sa Galesa, lovely little hotel tucked away behind the Cathedral de Mallorca and a short walk to all restaurants, tapas bars and seaside, I was sold.

Dating back to 16th century, it's a place full of inspiring architecture and renovated interiors, perfect for those appreciating old charm and culture.

Small, private and unique.

Limited to 12 rooms with unlimited charm; all different and each dedicated to a famous musician. We stayed in Chopin, which was rather small but perfectly functional, with all mod cons and a jacuzzi bath.
I loved how homely the hotel felt.

Every day, they offered complimentary tea with traditional Majorcan almond cake available to enjoy either in 'Monet Kitchen' for more homely feel or the tranquil courtyard, which is what we did. No one around, no noise, just the sound of water fountain and us deciding what adventure to go on next.
Apart from its ideal location, their terrace was the second best thing I loved offering 360 degree views of Palma. Relaxing on a sun lounger under the azure sky, listening to birds chirping away while sipping on a glass of cava waiting for the sun go down..... magical!

Breakfast had a good selection of all types of food, from spanish chorizo, ham, pastries to fresh fruit.
Spa consisted of a small roman pool with sauna and steam room and because the number of guests is limited, it never gets busy so we ended up having the whole spa to ourselves.

Right next to the hotel is this beautiful garden, Jardi del Bisbe for you to enjoy.
The service is absolutely impeccable; they won't hassle you unless you require service which is available 24/7. Whether you need a hotel reservation or require extra pillow in the middle of the night, they are there to help.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family stay - and, you can bring your pet along.

If you are planning a trip to Palma looking for a discreet, traditional but luxurious hotel right in the heart of the city, Palacio Ca Sa Galesa might just be the one.

More about Palma city in my next post.

Thanks to Palacio Ca Sa Galesa for supporting me on my visit to Mallorca. As always, all photos and opinions are my own. To experience it for yourself, visit their website here
